Restrict players from registering for multiple teams

We are having issues where players are being registered in particular at development ages for multiple teams at the club. Eg. U11 Lions and U11 Tigers at Club A. We only want them to be able to register for one team, at an age group, in one league. Could an option be created to restrict this? If a player needs to move internally, a transfer can be done, or the league can add to a new team, and remove the old one.
