Add a match to my phone calendar

I'd like to be able to add a match to my phone calendar when I’ve confirmed my child can play. I can’t see how to do it, and it would be a really useful feature. 

I can see others have requested this or similar (sync fixtures to Google or iphone calendar) already, but there's been no further action in over a year.
