Parent ability to link second parent to their player

This is much requested from players parents. From a club perspective when a registration form is completed, quite often we only get one parent or guardians information. Nor do I have the time to add multiple parents to players. This is then what is attached to the players FAN. When the second parent/guardian wants access, we have to obtain their info, and create a FAN or look them up. Could the existing parent not invite the second parent using their email address, name and DOB and either invite them to attach to that player? Either do this in Matchday, Player Portal or My Account.
