Young helpers
WE have a number of our young players taking part in the Dofe and who are helping with younger teams.
For accountability I want to ad them as a club member/official as its important to know who is supporting each team.
The portal wont allow me to add them as officials, what do you suggest in order for a record to be maintained.

I'm sure WGS used to allow U16s to be added as team officials but the new portal just returns a bad error message about incorrect date format, which I figured out actually means that the official is not yet 16.
The reason we ask for officials to be added to the system is to ensure safeguarding compliance.
As these young players are not over the age of 16 and therefore unable to complete safeguarding courses or a DBS we do not believe this would be beneficial to the majority of clubs.
