Notify Leagues if a player has more than one FAN record and you merge it

Where a player is de-duplicated and it subsequently becomes apparent that they have multiple registrations within the same league, we believe this is a matter for the club and the league to manage.

If we do not know there is a duplicate record, how can we address /manage?

You state “If a league wishes to apply any sanctions or charges where a club has failed to carry out the appropriate checks before registering a player, this would be a matter for the league to consider in accordance with its own rules and regulations.”

Yes we can apply sanctions, but we as league want to stop Clubs breaching rules and therefore system need to be more engaging with Leagues.
