Finding the Case on Club Portal
Please click this link for information on how to find a red card on Club Portal.
Once signed in to the Club Portal, select the discipline tab on the left hand side and then click in to the case ID.
If the case has not been reported by the match official yet, please email your email your County FA (discipline@[insert name of countyfa.com - for example discipline@sussexfa.com) with your Intention to Claim for Wrongful Dismissal by 5pm on the second business day following the incident. Further details on the claim process can be found on the "Wrongful Dismissal - FA Regulations" attachment at the bottom of this page.
Making a Claim for Wrongful Dismissal
Once you have found the red card on Club Portal and selected it, press the "intention to claim" button in the top right corner and select "Wrongful Dismissal".
The "intention to claim" button may be greyed out if you are submitting your claim outside of the timescales detailed within FA Regulations. Please refer to the "Wrongful Dismissal - FA Regulations" attachment at the bottom of the page.
Uploading Supporting Evidence
When you raise the claim you will then have the opportunity to add any supporting evidence. It is recommended to obtain statements from multiple witnesses to assist the claim and to upload clips of any video footage if available.
Once the documents have been uploaded you can then submit and pay. You will then see the prompt below regarding the claim fee. Click "Proceed".
The claim fee for teams at Steps 5-6 of the NLS is £50. For all other teams the claim fee will be £30.

You can then provide payment of the Claim Fee and Admin Fee using our secure Card payment portal:

Once the Claim has been submitted, the County FA will need to hear it before the suspension is due to start and they should advise you of the outcome.
In order to demonstrate that the decision was wrongful, the Player/their Club must establish that the Referee made an obvious error in sending off the Player.
