Editing a Group

NOTE: Only group admins can edit the details of a group.


To edit the details of a group, tap on either the group name or the icon in the top right corner.




Editing the name, icon and description of your group


To do this, click on the group icon, where you can see the little pencil. 



To edit the icon, tap the icon and select a new one from the options. To edit the name or description, tap on the existing text. 





Click on Save at the bottom to save your changes. 


Change settings so that only admins can post messages in the group


To do this, you'll just need to tap on the button next to this option. When this is on, only group admins will be able to post messages in the chat. 



Adding/Removing participants


To add a participant, tap on the 'Add participant button' and select someone from the list. 



To remove an existing participant, tap on the participant's name and then tap on 'remove from group'. 



Exiting the group


To exit the group, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select 'Exit Group', then select 'OK'. 


NOTE: If the only group admin exits the group, it will become inactive and nobody else will be able to message in it.
