Initiating a DBS as a County FA staff member

PLEASE NOTE : THIS GUIDANCE IS FOR COUNTY FA STAFF ONLY 


To initiate the DBS process for an individual, head to counties.thefa.com and select the individuals tab. Once there you can search for the induvial and select "start DBS".  Once added, they will need to login to Know Your People (First Advantage) to complete the process. A guide on how to do that can be found here. 



If the individual has an existing FA DBS, you can select "upload DBS" to add this to their FAN. The level of check will be locked however all the other fields are mandatory to complete.
