Now you have completed your Organisation Checklist (click here for guidance) you will need to complete the programme checklist for whichever FA programme you wish to set up.
As you complete elements of the programme checklist there will be sections that will require approval from your local County FA. You will be able to continue to set up your proposed sessions whilst you wait for approval, however they will remain restricted until you’ve been approved.
1.Safeguarding Children Policy- (Please note this item in the checklist is not required for Adult programmes)
If you are an affiliated club, England Football Accredited and have linked this to your account you will notice that your safeguarding children policy has already been checked off, as we recognise your account is linked to the affiliated club you have selected which holds this policy already.
If you are not an affiliated club you will be required to upload a copy of your safeguarding children policy which will need to be checked and approved by your local County FA.
2.Add your Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO)
You will need to add your DSO by clicking ‘Add DSO’, you will then need to enter the name and email address of the individual you wish to add as your DSO. Our system will then complete a look up via the email address provided and connect with the FAN (FA Number) which will check for relevant FA qualifications required for that role. It is important to check that the email address provided is connected to the individuals FAN, you can check FA qualifications via My account
3.Add your Coaches
You will need to add your Coach(es) by clicking ‘Add Coach(es)’, you will then need to enter the name and email address of the individual you wish to add as your coach(es). Our system will then complete a look up via the email address provided and connect with the FAN (FA Number) which will check for relevant FA qualifications required for that role. It is important to check that the email address provided is connected to the individuals FAN, you can check FA qualifications via My account
4.Organisation Checklist
This is an item to remind you that you need to complete your organisation checklist if you haven’t done so already.
5.Training
Some programmes will require you to confirm you have someone within your organisation who has completed the relevant training for the specified programme.
You will simply need to
Add in the email address of the person who completed the training
Click ‘Verify’ then ‘confirm training’ to complete this item in the checklist.
Please note that the email address should be the same one used to take the training. If you have not completed the relevant training please select ‘No’ which will take you to the training.
