The ‘officials’ tab will be available for clubs to see as part of their accreditation dashboard.
For all Accredited clubs the ‘officials’ tab checks 5 areas of minimum criteria clubs need to satisfy, they are:
Officials DBS compliant – this validates if all relevant officials that need to have in-date FA Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Checks (DBS)
Club Welfare Officer – this validates if the club has a Welfare Officer for Youth Clubs (male, female and disability).
Safeguarding Committee members course – this validates if the Safeguarding Committee Members course is completed by Club committee members.
Adult teams with first aid in football education – this validates if clubs with adult teams have a named individual that has completed the Introduction to First Aid in Football (IFAIF). If this person is a player, an additional person is required.
Youth Teams with a qualified coach or manager – this validates if clubs with youth teams have at least one coach or manager with the Introduction to Coaching Football (I2CF) per team, with in-date Introduction to First Aid in Football (IFAIF) and Safeguarding Children Course (SCC).
