Accessing Microsoft Teams

What do I need to log in?

To access Microsoft Teams online you will require an email address and an active internet connection. 

How do I get a link to the meeting?

You will receive an email invitation to the meeting that will contain all the meeting information and a link to Join Microsoft Teams Meeting. By Clicking "Join Microsoft Teams Meeting" you will be taken to your internet browser to join the meeting.

Joining the meeting

Once you've clicked "Join Microsoft Teams Meeting" within your email invitation, you'll be taken to your internet browser. Click "Join on web" to join the meeting. You may be asked to provide your name before entering the meeting by simply typing into the area provided.


Setting your permissions

On joining the Teams call you may be asked to accept permission for the application to use your camera and microphone. Accepting both will give you the best experience for your online call

I'm ready to go!

Decide if you want to start with video and audio on or off (you can change this anytime within the call) then click "Join now" to be taken into the lobby area where a current participant can admit you into the call!

I already have an Office 365 account

Great! When opening your invite select the "Open Microsoft Teams" to use your account and get the full use of the Teams suite of functionality.
