RELEASE: Matchday 9.0.0

As part of our commitment to modernising our infrastructure and utilising the latest technologies, processes, and architecture we have made some changes to the Matchday backend systems.

These changes include a new Matchday database and upgraded connections with other FA systems to provide Matchday users with improved data quality while future proofing the technology platform that supports the grassroots game.

WHAT’S NEW

- The infrastructure changes support the FA's plan to retire legacy systems providing a reliable, future proofed technology platform to support the grassroots and wider game.

- These changes include a new Matchday database and upgraded connections with other FA systems 

- Matchday will only be available on Apple devices running iOS 12+ or Android devices running Android 9+.
