This guide will show you how to create, edit and delete divisions within the competition portal.

Creating Divisions
To create a division, sign in to competitions.thefa.com with your usual email address and FA password and select the competitions tab on the left and then add division.
This will then bring up the numerous options and criteria for the division (division name, age group, format, gender, match day, disability and type) which you will need to complete before you are able to create (missed mandatory fields will show in orange when you select save).
Once you have completed the criteria the division will then be added to the competitions and divisions tab. You can then click in to the division to add teams (internal teams and external teams). To find out how to do this click here.
Editing Divisions
To edit a division select the competitions tab and then select the pencil icon on the right. You will then be able edit the criteria you originally set.
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO EDIT THE CRITERIA IF THERE ARE ANY TEAMS IN THE DIVISION
Deleting Divisions
To delete a division select the bin logo on the right hand side. This option will be greyed out if the division still has teams assigned to it so you will need to remove these first. Click here to find how to remove teams from a division.
Once the division is deleted in the competition portal, this then sets the division to inactive in Full-Time and will hide the division on the public page of Full-Time. However the division and all results will still be visible on the admin side of Full-Time.
