ONGOING ISSUE: Adding a second Parent/guardian via Matchday

We're aware of an issue relating to the new 'squad tab' feature within Matchday relating to adding a second parent/guardian. 


The majority of your players should work so we would recommend trying via. the Matchday app, but for 1 or 2 players you may have received the error below or no option to add a second parent/guardian:



Currently there are two scenarios:


1. The player has no links to any parent/guardians 

If the player has no links to any parent/guardians within the system then you should be able to successfully link up to 5 parent/guardians. 


2. The player already had a link to a parent/guardian prior to the new "Squad tab" being released

If the player already had a link to a parent/guardian prior to the new squad tab being released then you currently won't be able to add a second parent/guardian via. the Matchday app.


We are looking to have this fixed in September, if you do need to add a second parent/guardian to the player, this will need to be done via. Whole Game System using the old method:  Adding an Parent/guardian to a U16 Player


The parent/guardian can then login to Matchday app using the email address provided and their password, if they need to set their password please click "Forgot Password" within the app or visit:  https://www.thefa.com/account/RequestPasswordReset
